Although it focuses on non-fiction, it is equally useful for fiction. Michael Larsen details every step very clearly in this fourth edition with updates on changes in the publishing industry, sample proposals, expanded instructions for creating outlines and guidelines for becoming an effective self promoter. I recommend this book for anyone who wants to understand the publishing world.
